Your First Visit

What you can expect

We’re excited to have you join SPC! We know patients come to us in different ways. For some, your first visit may be for a time-sensitive concern; others may be looking for a primary care clinician; and for others, you may have been assigned to us by your insurance network. Regardless of how you got here, our top concern is addressing your needs – which is always where we start. After that, we will collect information about your health history, which may involve requesting your records from previous medical offices and hospitals. To make your first visit as smooth as possible, please complete our new patient intake form (<5 minutes!) before your first visit.

Insurance Info

We contract with most PPO, HMO, Medi-Cal, and Medicare plans in California. When you first schedule with us, our administrative team will run a check to make sure we are in your network. If for some reason we aren’t, you won’t be charged for that first visit, and we will work to get in your network so you can be our patient in the future!

We're Here for You

For patients needing immediate access, we offer video and phone visits 365 days a year, including holidays, weekend, and evening hours. We aim to provide appointments within 24 hours. Feel free to schedule a virtual appointment online or call us for an in-person visit at our Sunland and Oak Park offices.
