Dr. Michael Hochman, MD - CEO
Dr. Hochman is a Board-Certified Internist who graduated from Harvard Medical School in 2006 and completed his Internal Medicine training at the Cambridge Health Alliance. He worked for 9 years as a physician at LA County General Hospital, and 5 years as a Medical Director at AltaMed Health Services, the nation’s largest community health center. Between 2021-2024, Dr. Hochman served as the Founding CEO of Healthcare in Action, now the largest homeless healthcare group on the West Coast. In 2024, he founded Starfield Primary Care, a clinician-owned and operated primary care group with the mission of providing high-quality primary care in a sustainable way. Dr. Hochman is the editor of the 50 Studies Every Doctor Should Know book series, published by Oxford University Press, and has authored more than 50 publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. He lives in Studio City, California, with his wife and three children, and is an avid Boston sports fan (don’t hold that against him, he comes to it honestly from growing up in Massachusetts).
Dianne Georgetti, NP
Dianne is a nurse practitioner with a passion for holistic patient care. Over the past 15+ years, she has worked closely with a variety of patient populations, including those living with HIV, the LGBTQAl+ community, and those with substance use and mental health challenges. She is a patient advocate, and enjoys breaking through barriers to get her patients what they need.
Doug Goodgion, PA-C
Doug is a dedicated Physician Associate passionate about proactive patient care and lifestyle medicine. With a Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Microbiology from the University of Washington, he aims to shift the medical focus from reactive to high value preventive care. Motivated by his experiences in the Emergency Department, Doug emphasizes disease prevention by addressing root causes while utilizing advanced western medicine. His key areas of expertise include lifestyle medicine, longevity, men’s health, and he promotes a holistic approach that combines evidence-based practices with personalized interventions. Outside of work, Doug enjoys backpacking, weightlifting, yoga, running, cycling, and exploring different coffee brewing methods and flavors.
Rita Kyurklyan, MPH/Operations Manager
Rita is a dedicated public health professional with a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Southern California and Bachelor of Science in Cellular, Molecular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California – Riverside. With experience in multiple physician practices and a deep-rooted understanding of current health disparities, she has developed a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and improving health outcomes. Her passion for public health drives her to advocate for equitable access to healthcare and to implement effective community health initiatives. Rita believes in the power of compassionate care and strives to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare landscape. Outside of her professional endeavors, Rita enjoys baking, sewing, reading, and spending quality time with her family and energetic dog Mac!
